The Pillow Method is a comic that helps you make difficult decisions, while at the same time making your life a tad more dangerous!
The Pillow method
Young Rod is trying to make a difficult choice in his life.
Caption
Have you ever had to make a difficult decision? Choose a job, vote for a president or make an artistic decision.
Panels illustrating the different choices. Work as an astronaut or a stripper, vote for candidate A or B (they're all the same) and chose between two abstract patterns.
Caption
Here in three simple steps is the solution to all your problems.
STEP #1 - The question
Rod looking cheekily over at the next panel, which is a picture of him in bed with a nice looking guy.
Caption
Let's take little Rod here, he thinks he might be gay....or bi or...
Showing a graph with a variety of possible and impossible partner choices.
Caption
Having too many options makes coming to a conclusion more difficult (and more dangerours, see step #3).
To narrow things down for little Rod, we've given him only two options, homo or hetero.
Thumbs up for little Rod, he's ready to continue.
Caption
So now he's ready for...
STEP #2 - The Pillow
Rod is relaxing in bed with his favorite teddy bear.
Caption
Climb into bed.
TEDDY
The idea behind the Pillow Method is that deep down inside you know the answer!
Caption
Take a deep breath...
Teddy
Here comes the pillow kids!
Caption
...and stuff your face into the pillow.
Rod takes a deep breath, and dives face first into his pillow, sending the teddy bear flying.
Teddy
Weeee....
Caption
The trick is to not lift your head, no matter what happens until you've made up your mind...
Not lifting his face from the pillow, and not able to breathe, Rod is forced to think hard to find a solution to his problem.
Step #3 - The Answer
Caption
Now little Rod has only two options.
Arrows point to different panels, illustrating the two choices he has.
Option 1.
Caption
He can make up his mind.
Rod
EUREKA!
Teddy
He's gay.
Option 2.
Caption
Or not make up his mind.
Show a quick sequence of events where Rod suffocates, dies, and is buried.
Caption
Either way, your problem is solved.
